Billy Works Café (빌리웍스)

Tucked into an ally in Daegu is probably the coolest cafe I have ever been to. I was amazed to see the spacious environment of Billy Works Cafe. This coffee shop was built inside an old factory. It has extremely tall ceilings, many chairs, tables, and comfortable sofas to relax and enjoy some coffee. The owner obviously has a liking for design as the whole cafe seems like a work of art. Rocks, large pieces of stone are peeking through the actual floor of the cafe, intricate coffee machines are displayed on the second level, a giant chandelier is illuminating the coffee shop, and there are many beautiful artworks hanging on the stone walls. This beautiful building is also used for special events. At this cafe, they serve a variety of coffees; hot and cold, fruity drinks, and different kinds of pastries. Definitely, a bright, spacious, sophisticated, and calming place to spend a few hours…or the whole day!
