Myeongdong is one of the most popular places for shopping in Seoul. There any many streets filled with restaurants, shopping, and cosmetic stores. Many Korean people don't consider Myeongdong to be Korea as there are too many tourists. If you get lost or need help navigating, there are tour guides dressed in all Red Uniforms and Hats standing in the streets. They will help you and answer any questions you have. Myeongdong has street fashion stores and big chain stores like H&M, Forever 21, and even more luxury brands like BOY. You can find all your cosmetic stores there such as Olive Young, SkinFood, Nature Republic, and much more! There are many restaurants; Western, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and even Vietnamese. As well as restaurants, Myeongdong has many places that sell street foods such as Tteokbokki(떡볶이), fishcakes (오뎅), and Kimbab(김밥). If you keep walking further through Myeongdong, you can also find many souvenir, paper shops, and fabric shops.

You can get to Myeongdong by taking the Light Blue Subway Line (Line 4) and arrive at Myeongdong Station (명동역)
